News: Sell-out crowd for Geoff Holt at this year's Southampton Boat Show
On Friday 12 September, Geoff Holt will represent speech-mark at the Southampton and Fareham, Chamber of Commerce, Boat Show lunch. The Chamber team are ecstatic due to this year’s sell out audience of 360 attendees from all business arenas across the South coast.
On the same day, Geoff will also launch his book 'Walking on Water' which is a captivating read on his life to date and his 'Personal Everest' journey, which has touched the lives of so many people, including those beyond our shores. It has not only inspired a new generation of disabled sailors in this country, it has demonstrated to everyone that disability need not be a barrier to achieving your dream.

Geoff sailed 1,500 miles, solo, around the coast of Great Britain in a 15ft trimaran dinghy. Geoff Holt is a passionate yachtsman who, paralysed from the chest down after a swimming accident when he was just 18 years, secured a place in history when he completed this voyage – a courageous feat of endurance (in Sept ‘07).
With an extensive marketing background, Geoff understands the importance of making relevant connections between his sailing 'Personal Everest' and a business audience. Geoff’s passion for life, sense of humour and positive world-view ensure his talks are memorable. He has some excellent photos and footage of his voyage.
